Casa Gilda is situated in Sorrento's most picturesque corner, Marina Grande. Is one of the few holidays house in Sorrento where you can enjoy an authentically seaside location.

Casa Gilda is an old fisherman's house totally restored in 2008. It is located right on the sea, which will allow you to enjoy an unlimited and charming seascape.

He had several good reasons for choosing this spot, and it is for these same reasons that modern-day travelers are spellbound by this amazing house.

From the terrace, placed directly above the sea, you will be able to admire the incomparable scenery of Marina grande of Sorrento and the tall cliffs that dive into the sea. On the right side will rest the large arc of the Gulf of Naples, with the characteristic cone of Mount Vesuvius right in the middle of it.

Here you are just a short walk from the bustling centre of Sorrento and its port but can enjoy the tranquility of a traditional fishing village, with beach, restaurants, bars and small shops of its own, right belowe your house.

The historic path to Marina Grande takes you through an ancient path in to the Historical walls of old Sorrento and down a pathway with shallow steps leading to the cove and its wonderful views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples.

Marina Grande is a pretty fishermen village located in the most characteristic bay of Sorrento. The protector of Marina Grande and of the fishermen is S.Anna, is celebrated on July 26th with a procession by sea (the boats take the statue of the saint all around the coast) and magnificent fireworks.

Casa Gilda has private entrance and 2 floors:

1st. Floor- Living with 2 sofas bed for 2 people each and open plan kitchen and 1 full bathroom with shower box, one window and one balcony overlooking the sea, and stairs to 2nd floor. The first floor is about 40 square meters

2nd. Floor- One double bedroom with one queen bed 160 cm wide - and one full bathroom with shower box, exit to the terrace sea view, equipped with outiside furniture. Air conditioned. The second floor is about 20 square meters.

Pay attention the 2nd floor is a Pitched roof (Attic), the height of the roof in the two corners is about 1,30 mt.

The house has: Air conditioned hot & cool, Internet connection free USB 7.2 Mbps ( bring your Notebook or smartphone), hair dryer, linens and towels provided.

The house is suitable for Maximum 4 people. The car is not needed, if you should have one there is a Private parking available 200 mt. away from the house at extra price.

Casa Gilda rental rules:

All prices are in euro; rentals are inclusive of maid service once a week usually the saturday (no mid week)

Price includes final cleaning, linen and towels, gas and electricity. No extra fees or taxes.

Security deposit: Euro 200, 00 (paid locally by cash either in Uk Pounds or Us dollars) at the time of arrival.

The security deposit will be refunded upon departure subject to any deductions for damage.

Upon arrival at the property the property owner/ manager or representative will ask you to present a copy of your passport and pay the security deposit.

Check-in after 4.00 pm - check out before 10.00 am or by different arrangement.
