The appartment turned out to be just as it had been described and we found it clean, comfortable and the views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius were superb. The pool was large enough and well maintained (particularly enjoyed by our 2 teenage daughters) - we rarely had to share it with many other residents. We were surrounded by Italian families which added to the atmosphere.
Bruno was extremely friendly and helpful even though we never really had any problems to sort out. He recommended restaurants (da Emilia & La Terrazza particularly good).
Sorrento is a charming place, though extremely busy in August (watch out for the Vespas coming at you from all angles !). A good base for exploring the Bay - Capri (the Jet Set), Pompei (loads of ruins) & Napoli (the best pizza in the world) are all worth the trip.
The holiday was all that we had hoped for. You should enjoy it as much as we did. \"

We arrived at Villa Donna Titina in the evening of August 7th and Peppe and his wife greeted us with Limoncello and Espresso. The first impression of the place far exceeded our expectations. The view was breathtaking and the drive up to the house was memorable (no big cars here). So if you're looking for a house away from the centre of Sorrento with a quiet location, then this is the place. We came with 2 small children (4 & 8 yrs old) and my wife's 80 year old mom, so we didn't do much walking into town with them, so a car is essential if you stay here. However, my wife and I did walk into town one morning and we had no problem. The house has no AC, but it really wasn't necessary. The cool mountain breeze kept the evenings around 22 degrees Celcius, which was very comfortable for sleeping, considering the day-time temperatures of 32 degrees in August. Peppe was very helpful in giving me a ride into town for groceries and showing me around on his Vespa! He has beautiful lemon trees and peach trees which he shared with us each day; amazing. We miss them!

Three of my best friends and I stayed at Villa Donna Elisa for a week (May-June 2010) and it was an amazing place to temporarily call home. The garden - beautiful in the pictures on the website, but spectacular in person. The interior - charmingly appointed with books and art from Elisa's travels around the globe, which makes it feel more like staying in a home than a rental property. In fact, if you brought some framed pictures of your family, you could easily convince guests that you actually lived in the villa. The owner is like your favorite aunt - friendly, helpful and full of great advice. If you're lucky enough to be in Sorrento when this property is available, do not hesitate to book it! You will not regret your decision. -Jennifer (Chicago, IL USA)

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Magnolia June 5-12, 2010. The property itself and the views are spectacular. The owners, Michele and Tina, were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome immediately. We are a family of three generations, including three children (ages, 15, 9 and 2) and found this to be comfortable for all. The pool was a favorite of all of us and the gardens were not only beautiful, but provided room for the children to play as well. Dinner at their new table under the gazebo was a perfect end to the day. We had arranged through the rental agency to hire a pizzaiolo to come one evening and we were delighted when this turned out to be Michele and Tina who produced wonderful pizzas for us in the villa’s outdoor pizza oven. It was the highlight of our stay! Especially the Nutella dessert pizza! Our hosts were most generous. Although no vegetables were ready at the time of our visit, they shared ripe cherries and lemons from their trees with us. A car is a must if you stay here but you will not regret choosing this villa. We would love to return.
